Pinga has been working in surfing, with surf brands and with athletes since the 1980’s and has been responsible for almost all of the current crop of brazilian athletes at some point or another. Many of them he started with when only children and developed them into the lethal force they are on the tour today, including last years world champion, Adriano de Souza, last years Rookie of the Year, Italo Ferreira, this years contenders and many more. The WSL sat down to talk to Pinga about his work with the Brazilian athletes.
